New Bremen student wins county bee

WAPAKONETA — After 38 rounds of putting the right consonants with vowels, seventh-grade New Bremen student Marissa Frazee was crowned champion of the 2010 Auglaize County Spelling Bee Monday as she correctly spelled the word “mohair.”

Museum prepares for next exhibit

MINSTER – The Minster Historical Society is preparing for its next major exhibit at its museum on Fourth Street.
Starting Sunday, March 28, the museum will be chock-full of displays in an exhibit titled “A Tribute to the 1950s and the Korean War Era.”
