10 Vying for Auglaize County Jr. Fair Queen and King

Ten Auglaize County students are in the running for the honor of 2017 Auglaize County Jr. Fair King and Queen. The queen and king will be crowned at a ceremony on Monday, July 31 at 6:30 p.m.

Michaelia Fisher

  • 17 years old, Wapakoneta High School
  • Daughter of  Mike and Kim
  • Nominated by Prospects 4-H Club (13-year member).
  • St. Joseph Catholic Church altar server and communion distributor,  Summer Moon Fest second runner-up Miss Photogenic, volunteer at Otterbein, Regional track qualifier, member of WBL championship relay team, National Honor Society treasurer, honor roll, student senate president and vice-president, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, cross country first team All-WBL, Octagon Club.

Joanna Frankenberg

  • 17 years old, New Knoxville High School
  • Daughter of  Steve and Kathy Frankenberg
  • Nominated by 4-H (9-year member)
  • National Honor Society, class president, German Club, pep club, volleyball, cheer, Holy Rosary youth group, mission trip, nursing home bingo, Right to Life March, HOBY 2016, Glamour Girls vice president, Buckeye Girls State.

Rebecca Lehmkuhl

  • 17 years old, Minster High School

Kelly Wilker

Laura Wilker

  • Nominated by 4-H/FFA (12-year and 2-year member).
  • Student council president, FFA vice president and blood drive coordinator, National Honor Society president, Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership team, Holy Rosary youth group secretary, St. Marys All-Brass Band field commander and section leader, Relay for Life, cross country and track 2nd team all-WBL and state qualifier.

Dawson Carmean

  • 17 years old, Waynesfield-Goshen High School

Kyle Prenger

  • 18 years old, Minster High School

Adam Vogel
