The Community Post, a weekly newspaper serving the area since 1896, is in the business of sharing the good news of the community with our readers.

Published each Thursday, the Community Post is a publication full of good news from the Minster-Fort Loramie-Osgood-Yorkshire-Maria Stein-New Bremen areas -- as well as from lots of places in-between those communities. The office is located in Minster, the center of the area the newspaper serves.

The publication itself has gone through many changes over the years -- it's no longer published in German, for example -- but what has never changed is The Community Post's mission to chronicle the lives of the people in the area through school news, feature articles, sports write-ups, correspondent letters and more.

Now owned and operated by Horizon Publications Inc., The Community Post office is located at 326 N. Main Street, Suite 200, in Minster's Eagle Plaza. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and can be reached at 419-628-2369; the fax number is 419-628-4712. The newspaper is published each week on Thursdays although that day is flexible to allow for publication during a week where a holiday falls on publication day. The office is closed New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
