Allen “Pete” L. Grillot, 78, of Van Wert, formerly of Fort Loramie, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at 7:35 p.m., at Vancrest Health Care Center, in Van Wert.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 9:30 to 10 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, in St. Marys. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at 2 p.m., at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, in Newport, with the Rev. Steven Shoup. In keeping with Pete's wishes, cremation will take place prior to all services. Memorial contributions may be made to Van Wert Hospice.
