L. C. “Peanuts” Werling, age 82, of Coldwater, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at Otterbein Nursing Home in St. Marys.

Funeral services will be held at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater on Friday, June 13, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be at Hogenkamp Funeral Home on Thursday, June 12, 2008, from 2 to 8 p.m., and on Friday June 13, 2008, after 9 a.m. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, in Coldwater. Since Peanuts had a great love for animals, memorials can be made to The Animal Protection League of Mercer County PO Box 663, Celina, OH 45822-0663. The Coldwater American Legion will conduct military rites at the cemetery.
