Bernard A. Bruns, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at Kettering Medical Center after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at St. Nicholas Church at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, with Rev. David Zink officiating. Calling hours are scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, and 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
