Renovation Work at Minster High School Begins

Staff Writer

What was the Minster High School Library less than two weeks ago has now become a hive of activity for the renovation project begun on the premises.

The grade 9-12 school will be refurbished over a two-year period of time in a manner that will allow classes to proceed with minimal disturbance and will allow Minster to design classrooms with an eye towards the future and changes in the way students learn. That will mean desks designed to function in different classroom scenarios and moveable walls. The technology in the facility will be upgraded. The parking lots will be taken down to the base level and rebuilt. The administration offices will be moved to where the library currently sits to allow for more control entrance into the facility. The media center will move over to where the offices are currently.
