Spencer Introduced as Minster's New Principal

Newly hired Jr. High and High School Principal Dr. Jason Spencer introduced himself to the Minster Board of Eduation at Monday night's meeting, speaking with gratitude that they would reposit their trust in him.

He noted how supportive the community had already shown itself to be  as his family  was orienting to the new  area. He mentioned his three children would also be attending Minster Schools.

“It’s been fantastic. I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome,” said Spencer. “I feel like I should have been here years ago, but now is the right time. ... It’s everything I hoped it would be. It’s been a blessing. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do. Thank you very much.”

Spencer comes to Minster following two years of experience as principal at the Villages High School in Florida and prior to that five years in Ohio.

Spencer was at the Villages' charter school for two years. He was principal at Buckeye Valley for three years and Worthington City Schools for two years. He served as an assistant principal at Seminole County Public Schools for three years and was a teacher in the Orange County Public Schools for eight years from 1999 to 2007.
