Minster’s Head Baseball Coach Mike Wiss recently got win number 500 as their coach, and that milestone represents more than just the game of baseball. “This is my 29th year of teaching, 29th year of baseball, and 22 years of football”, said Wiss. He said that he said that being both a teacher and coach has given him the opportunity to see students grow and learn.
HIs path to teaching and coaching started in a completely different area of study. “I went to the University of Dayton on a baseball scholarship, and at UD i was a a Mechanical Engineer for several years”, said Wiss.
