On Monday evening the Minster Board of Education held its monthly meeting. The meeting saw two students receive awards, as well as a presentation about the positive impacts of the independent reading and writing courses offered at the high school.
The village of Minster Council met on Tuesday evening for second readings of two ordinances and one resolution, and the emergency passage of another resolution. as well as discussing new business.

Noble Township is preparing to host its annual hog roast fundraiser. The fundraiser benefits the Noble Community Park located at 16493 St. Marys River Rd., and is their only fundraising event for the Community Park.
The Ohio Army National Guard has re-opened shop in St. Marys with a new recruiting station. The station is located at 1272 Indiana Ave., and is the successor to the former location which was inside the old National Guard Armory Building.

The Minster Journeyman’s Club presented the Minster Youth Basketball Organization with a donation on Wednesday. The donation was for $3,185 and will cover fees associated with gym rentals and practices this season for the Boys and Girls Youth Basketball teams, third through sixth grades.
