The Minster Knights of Columbus Father Andrew Kunkler Council 2158 held its official Charity Awards banquet Sunday at the Knights of Columbus Hall. And what a celebration it was. After all, the local men’s group was marking its 100th year anniversary. Beginning at 3:30 with a social hour and ending with music and dancing at 11 p.m., the program was full of beverages, dinner, awards, speeches and entertainment which included juggler Tony Steinbach. As impressive as all this was, the membership was presented with a 96-page booklet remembering the 100-year history of the Minster Catholic men’s organization which today lists 330 Brother Knights in its ranks.
