MINSTER — It all came down to one race.
Minster trailed state meet-leading McDonald High School by four points heading into the 1,600-meter relay on Saturday in Westerville.
Needing a great performance, Minster put on an all-time best, running the relay in a time of 3:22.12, winning not only the race but the meet. McDonald finished in fifth place, which saw a six-point swing that put the Wildcats into the No. 1 spot, earning the boys team its first ever state track and field championship.
